As a user with only comment access to a board, you need to fist click on the “add a comment” cannot add comments to specific components which have been added.
It actually looks like you’re forced into “Pan Mode” so you can only move around. Ideally I can click on elements and then add them. The current flow is very different than how you would add a comment if you had edit permissions.
I did not initially see the “add a comment” icon in the upper left, and as I usually am editing documents, this isn’t how I usually add comments. Since I knew I wasn’t adding any elements to the board, I didn’t think twice to look in this area.
Would be great to highlight elements in commentor mode.
