Open All and Close All folders in a Workspace

My workspaces have lots of hierarchical folders which is one of the many reasons I love Whimsical. It is a great tool to organize complex information.

However, with many sub-levels, I would love a shortcut to “Open All” and “Close All” folders. A typical shortcut for this is to click on the arrow to the left of the folder while holding down either the Shift or Alt (Option) key.

If the key is held:

  • Clicking a CLOSED folder arrow OPENS ALL child folders in the hierarchy below it.
  • Clicking on an OPEN folder arrow CLOSES ALL child folders in the hierarchy below it.
